EAZA Zoo Horticulture Conference 2025
We are pleased to announce that the EAZA Zoo Horticulture Conference 2025 will be held from Tuesday the 24th of June until Thursday the 26th of June 2025 in Diergaarde Blijdorp, Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The icebreaker will take place on Monday the 23rd of June 2025.
This year's theme: Making Zoos Greener: Innovative Planting, Biodiversity, and Sustainability.
The event kicks off on June 23rd with an evening icebreaker, including dinner and drinks.
On June 24th and 25th, attendees can enjoy a diverse program featuring presentations by experts from zoos, botanical institutions, universities, nurseries, and related companies. Additionally, guided tours through the zoo will be offered.
On June 26th, an excursion is planned to Trompenburg Arboretum and Gardens in Rotterdam.
Lunch is provided on all days, and on Tuesday, June 24th, there will also be an evening dinner.
The full program, including speakers, will be announced in early May.
EAZA Zoo Horticulture Conference 2025 will be held at in the EAUditorum room in the Oceanium of Rotterdam Zoo. Please keep in mind Rotterdam Zoo had 2 entrances and the main entrance is closest to the venue. From the city side entrance it's a 20 minute walk to the venue.

The main entrance of Rotterdam Zoo can be reached by buslines 33 and 40 (stop Blijdorpplein) and busline 32 (stop Abraham van Stolkweg).
