As a botanical garden, Rotterdam Zoo offers an indispensable green oasis amidst the ever-growing architectural metropolis. As you walk around, it’s clear the Zoo is uniquely designed, with animals living in environments as natural as possible. The zoo is also home to 21 valuable and unique national monuments, many of which have been restored and modernised over the years.
Thanks to its central location in the Randstad, our zoo is just a ten-minute walk from Rotterdam Central Station and we even have our own bus and metro stops at the entrance.
