Invitation Blijdorp Young Academy Day
We are excited to invite you to participate in the upcoming Blijdorp Young Academy Day at Diergaarde Blijdorp. This event offers a unique opportunity for ten of our former students to present their thesis or internship work to the staff of Diergaarde Blijdorp.
Date: Thursday, October 24, 2024
Time: 14:00 - 17:00 (followed by a closing reception until 19:00)
Location: Diergaarde Blijdorp
This is your chance to showcase your hard work and the research you’ve conducted to a professional audience deeply involved in conservation, education, and animal care. It’s an excellent platform to share your insights and potentially influence future projects at Diergaarde Blijdorp.

To be considered as one of the ten presenters, we ask that you record a short video (no longer than 1 minute) explaining why your topic deserves to be featured on this special day. The video should highlight the relevance and potential impact of your work.
From the submitted videos, we will select 10 topics/students to present their work. Details about the content of the presentation will be communicated later. Even if you are not chosen as a presenter or if you just want to attend the Academy Day, you are more than welcome to attend the event as a participant.
