Short-snouted seahorse taken in at Blijdorp

Behind the scenes at the Oceanium, a short-snouted seahorse that washed up on the beach has been taken in for care. The found creature can now recover in peace. If all goes well, it will be released again in the spring. If you find a seahorse too, gently place it in a plastic bag with cool seawater. Then, call one of the official rescue locations: Diergaarde Blijdorp or Ecomare Texel.
